Self and Google Cloud’s USA₮ Mainnet Faucet is bringing the U.S.-regulated dollar stablecoin issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A., and backed by Tether to real, verified humans everywhere. All for free, using Self’s zero-knowledge infrastructure, meaning users never compromise privacy or data security.

Over 4,000 people have already successfully used the Faucet to claim USA₮.

Now, claims are moving to a dynamic model that adjusts to demand, ensuring continued distribution of funds to users who privately and securely prove their identity.

How It Works:

  • Visit Google Cloud’s USA₮ Mainnet Faucet portal

  • Connect your Celo wallet (Ledger, Valora, MetaMask, Rabby) to the USA₮ Mainnet Faucet

  • Verify your identity with Self, using your biometric passport, ID Card, or Aadhaar only.

    • Verifications on Self using third-party verifiers are not eligible for the USAT rewards.

    • Self uses zero-knowledge technology to generate a proof that you are eligible (18+, not a resident of an OFAC-sanctioned country) without ever transmitting your raw personal data

  • Once your Self Pass is verified, your wallet will immediately receive $1 in USA₮ at no cost

  • Send USA₮ to another Celo wallet to receive another payout of $.40 in USA₮

  • Hold 10+ USA₮ for at least 10 consecutive days to receive $.60 in USA₮ allocation

Note:

  • Users must verify their identity with an NFC Chip-enabled passport, ID Card, or Indian Aadhaar through Self’s privacy-first, zero-knowledge infrastructure. Registrations through third-party verifiers supported within the Self app will not receive the USAT allocation at this time.

  • Every real, verified user earns one allocation. You cannot register multiple IDs through the same Self Pass to claim, but you can refer a friend directly through the Self App.

  • USA₮ allocations above reflect payouts as of Friday, September 4th. This is subject to change as a result of the dynamic model. All updates will be shared by the Self Labs team on X.
